Need
Most of a boutique hotel's bookings come through booking platforms; each one costs a commission, and the hotel never meets its guest.
Its own site is slow, in one language and shows no availability. Rooms are tracked in three places, so a double booking is always one step away.
The system
A fast site in the guest's language, an availability calendar synced with the platforms, and a deposit that completes the booking.
Confirmation and receipt go out by themselves. An assistant answers questions at night and leaves special requests for the front desk.
